Jason D. McTaggart, AAMS®, CRPC® | Seventy2 Capital Wealth Management

As an Executive Vice President and Financial Advisor at Seventy2 Capital, Jason is passionate about engaging with clients who have worked hard to create wealth and helping them preserve it for retirement and future generations. With 29 years of experience in wealth management, Jason provides sound financial advice by first understanding his client’s current situation, concerns, risk tolerance, and financial priorities. He then uses this information to develop a comprehensive investment plan, while always striving to build long-term relationships based on mutual trust and respect.

Before joining Seventy2 Capital, Jason was a Senior Financial Advisor and Managing Director-Investments with Wells Fargo Advisors for 14 years. Prior to that, he worked as a Financial Advisor and Vice President- Investments with Banc of America/Merrill Lynch and their predecessors for over 10 years. He believes in the value of ongoing education and earned the Accredited Asset Management Specialist, AAMS and the Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor, CRPC, designations through the College for Financial Planning in 2008. These designations help to enhance his knowledge of retirement planning strategies.

Jason is proud to have served in the United States Navy, both on active duty and in the reserves, spending several years overseas. After his military service, he graduated Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science degree from Kean University in Union, NJ. Outside the office, Jason enjoys spending time with his wife and three children. They enjoy traveling and watching their kids participate in various sports and dance classes. Jason is active in the community and participates in civic and community organizations. He holds board member positions with Prevent Child Abuse-NJ and ChildWin (Child Wellness Institute) and has volunteered at several local organizations and has participated in his children’s sports teams as an assistant coach.
