Wendy Markey, WMCP®

Vice President & Financial Advisor
Wendy Markey, WMCP® | Seventy2 Capital

As a Vice President & Financial Advisor in the Stewart Markey Group of Seventy2 Capital Wealth Management, Wendy specializes in working with clients actively saving for retirement, retirees, those who manage retirement plans, physicians, and businesses. Being in a multi-generation team herself, she finds working with multi-generation families a natural fit.

Wendy entered the wealth management industry in 1996. Prior to joining Seventy2 Capital, she served as a Financial Advisor at Smith Barney, Citi Group, and Raymond James. Throughout her career, she has developed a personalized approach to her role as an advisor. She gets to know her clients’ goals and dreams, finds out what keeps them up at night, and then maps out a strategy to help them meet their objectives. She and her team educate their clients on the “why” of every investment they propose so that they can make the best choices for themselves. She and her team pride themselves on their ability to quiet the noise so clients can make informed decisions based on their circumstances.

Wendy earned a degree in Liberal Arts from Old Dominion University. Outside of the office, she enjoys spending time with her family and staying active through boating, paddleboarding, and yoga. She is also an active member of her community as the co-founder of Women’s Empower Society, past President of the Art Council of NW Florida, a volunteer at the Emerald Coast Wildlife Refuge, former Board Member of the DAR, and a member of the Financial Planning Association.
